Christmas Vintage Shabby Chic

Introducing my world of christmas vintage
I have chosen a selection of hand picked decorations for the home.
Now.... i always tend to buy our christmas tree from the same place every year.
Nordmann fir, £35-45 (183cm, 6-7ft tall
Now... this is what i buy every year, the best christmas tree for needle retention
A lovely cone-shaped tree with open, spiky branches and a silvery bark. It has long, glossy, dark green needles, with a white stripe on the underside. Soft foliage and great needle retention have made this Britain’s most popular Christmas tree. It will stay fresh for a long time, if you keep the resevoir topped up with water.

The world of Ugg

The Love begins, It begins with UGG

In 1978, Brian Smith landed in Southern California with a bag of sheepskin boots and hope. He fell in love with the sheepskin experience and was convinced the world would one day share this love.
By the mid 1980’s, the UGG brand became a symbol of relaxed southern California culture, gaining momentum through surf shops and other shops up and down the coast of California, from San Diego to Santa Cruz. UGG boots reached beyond the beach, popping up in big cities and small towns all over, and in every level of society.
People didn’t just like wearing UGG boots, they fell in love with them and literally could not take them off. By the end of the 90’s, celebrities and those in the fashion world took notice of the UGG brand.
By 2000, a love that began on the beaches had become an icon of casual style.

Shake up your life

Healthy eating is not about strict nutrition philosophies, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Rather, it’s about feeling great, having more energy, stabilizing your mood, and keeping yourself as healthy as possible, all of which can be achieved by learning some nutrition basics and using them in a way that works for you. Personally for me i like to stay away from burgers, cakes and anything that contains wheat and gluten. About nine years ago the doctor diagnosed me with celiac diseaseThe only treatment for celiac disease is a lifelong gluten-free diet.  Eating gluten, no matter how small the amount, can damage the intestine. A gluten-free diet means avoiding all foods that contain wheat, rye, and barley.

Despite these restrictions, people with celiac disease can eat a well-balanced diet with a variety of foods, including bread and pasta. Many gluten-free products are now made with potato, rice, soy, or bean flour. In addition, plains meat, fish, fruits and vegetables do not contain gluten, so celiacs can eat as much of these foods as they like. You can expand your range of healthy food choices and learn how to plan ahead to create and maintain a tasty, healthy diet. Unfortunately for me i tend to eat some foods with wheat in and sadly gluten is in most foods, i do tend to feel my stomach hurting shortly after and it expands and makes me look three months pregnant! I do try to do my best not to eat foods that i know are going to affect me. I have found some great shakes that contain fruit and some recipes that look good and tasty to eat. Some may contain gluten, wheat or nuts so do check them out first.

Retro and Hip

So i just adore retro stuff. I have always liked to have a selection of quirky things in my house, loving The white Company but like that retro twist feel to my home. My decor i have picked in my house is mainly white, white walls to a cream sofa! I really dig that funky look but elegant feel to it. My Mother's favourite animal is an owl, so i've hand picked some of my favourite items from some very cool websites. Check out notonthehighstreet.com
